About the artist
Based in Lincolnshire, I became a full time artist in 2009, following a career path of many of the disciplines of Graphic Design working for Advertising Agencies and Art studio’s.
I have alway’s shown an interest in Art, and Art works, and was encouraged at an early age by an Uncle, who was an excellent Equine Artist, it seemed a high possibility that I too would become an artist.
I attended Lincoln College of Art, where I studied Fine Art and History of Art, and Photography. I then went on to graduate as a Graphic Designer, Visualiser, and Illustrator.
I draw inspiration from everyday life, past and present, and have been described as an eclectic artist.
If you visit my Artist Blog you can follow how I construct some of my Art.
One of most unusual commissions so far is of Humming Birds feeding in their natural habitat.
This is what the recipient had to say about the painting.
Wow - my Humming Birds are now adorning my sitting room and are simply stunning. As you know, I had spent several years looking for an artwork with this subject without any luck so to find you at Alford art and crafts fair was unbelievably opportune and when you said you would create something for me I was delighted.Nothing I had ever imagined could have come even close to what you have produced for me with only 'iridescent blue and green birds feeding on pink flowers' as a starting point.Thank you so much and I look forward to many happy hours watching my birds
This is the finished result.
